Aria Interactive is proud to offer complimentary training classes for senior citizens. Many senior citizens are purchasing new computers and beginning to spend more and more time on the Internet. Many of them get frustrated because they are unfamiliar with computers in general and they may be intimidated by all of the information available on the Internet.
Our two-part training series introduces seniors to the computer and then the Internet.
The first class introduces them to the computer, helping them to get comfortable using the mouse and making them comfortable with the computer desktop.
The second class introduces them to the web browser, shows them how to research information using internet search engines, and emphasizes the importance of email and instant messaging to stay in touch with family members.
The purpose of this series of classes is to help eliminate the myth that computers are too complicated for them and to open their horizons to everything the Internet has to offer. Our classes are not taught on an individual basis and a group of 10 or more seniors is required in order to schedule a class.
