“Aria Interactive did a web site re-build for our church recently that was complicated by the fact that the communications committee wanted it to look and function exactly the same for users, but to be easily updated and edited by members of the committee, most of whom have litlte-to-no technical background.
Michael, our designer, took a hard-coded HTML site, optimized all graphics and rebuilt it using WordPress, and not only does it look EXACTLY the same as it did before–retaining the design they liked so much–it is faster and so easy to modify, edits that used to take days to complete now take minutes! As the volunteer webmaster of the site, I am thrilled because I used to be the only person who could maintain the site and the new WordPress platform saves me hours each month.
In addition to providing this faster, easier to maintain core site, Michael added a blog for our Mission and Outreach Committee and a photo album where we can showcase church life and special events. As a result of all his hard work, the site is much more current and more members and prospective members are using it every day!
Aria Interactive also created an original logo graphic for a discussion forum/community I created and maintain for mothers in the Southeast. The logo is the only brand-identity we have on the site, so it has to instantly let members know not only where they are, but what we’re about–we have a unique tone and membership base and in order to remain lightly moderated, we need to ensure that even new members know what that is without necessarily memorizing the rules. The graphic designed by Aria Interactive does an excellent job of helping us achieve this goal and it’s just plain fun to look at!
In addition to the top notch work product Michael delivered for us, he was a pleasure to work with. He is fast, thorough and a consummate professional. If he says he will do it, it gets done, and even though all communication was electronic, we could sense it was always done with a smile–he just has a very upbeat responsive demeanor that is particularly helpful and reassuring when you’re trying to finish something on time for very particular clients.
